Madilee’s Legacy

There’s so much to say about Madilee, but the confines of this page limit us. Her life overflowed with accomplishments, boundless love for others, and a powerful testimony. Though her time on earth was brief, she embraced every moment with purpose. From a young age, she radiated a glow that never waned, even as she courageously battled brain cancer. Madilee was an exceptional daughter, a perfect role model, and a loving big sister; she also cherished her pets dearly. Passionate, funny, and fiercely loyal, she possessed just the right blend of sassiness, spice, and sunshine. A daughter of the One true King, she scattered seeds of God’s love wherever she went. She fulfilled her mission on June 12, 2023, and her Savior welcomed her into His loving embrace.

Madilee poured her heart into everything she did—whether in sports, academics, or her faith. She was a straight-A student, cheered for the Randleman Tigers, and excelled on the soccer field. Her adventurous spirit couldn’t be quenched by cancer. She enjoyed time with friends, outdoor escapades, four-wheelers, and moments by the water. Music stirred her soul, and she eagerly anticipated each concert, strumming her guitar and lending her beautiful voice to chorus and church services.

Following her heart brought Madilee joy, yet her love for others ran deep. She once said, “If one person comes to know the Lord because of my situation, then it was all worth it.” Though she’s no longer with us in the physical realm, her spirit still LIVES. Let us heed her example, embracing life to the fullest despite the challenges.

Madi was passionate about raising awareness for this terrible cancer, because she fought, lived, and died by this cause. She even donated her brain to research to continue the fight beyond her passing, so others might reap the benefits of a cure and carry on her purpose.
