Davis’s Legacy
Davis was born on July 13, 2021; his birth brought great joy to the family. He was a deeply loved child who cherished God and all of God’s creation. He loved attending Mass every weekend until one day he began to feel unwell, suffering from headaches and difficulty moving his neck. He was admitted to the children’s hospital on July 2, 2022, where we received the devastating news that Davis had a terrible, highly aggressive, high-grade cancer. He underwent surgery to remove a tumor that spanned his spinal cord, neck, and brain. Davis fought this terrible illness for one year and eight months. On April 10, 2024, at the age of two years and eight months, Davis passed away from astroblastoma. Because he loved life and God’s creation, we decided to donate his brain and corneas to research aimed at finding a cure or treatment. We will always remember his infinite love.
