Memory Monday: Tanner Gillen

Tanner was always unique. He was a Renaissance man who had not yet lived long enough to know all that he did. He loved all genres of music. He loved art and travel. On Tanners 12th birthday I asked him what he would like to do. He wanted to travel to Chicago to see the Terracotta Solders exhibit. He wanted to go to the Art museum and on an architectural boat tour. Those are some pretty amazing things for someone so young to request. We went, we absorbed every moment and completed our visit with the first of many cheesecakes!

I love his spirit, his adventurous soul, his quest for knowledge. Always my hero!
